Indeed since some deliveries have been delayed by customers, it may seem that nothing happens. Nevertheless, concerning MSN034 to Singapore Airlines, it has begun its flight tests and will probably be delivered on the last days of June. MSN026 and 027 both for Qantas will also soon begin cabin flights tests (end June or early July).
July will also see Air France MSN043 first flight and ferry flight to Hamburg as well as MSN025 for Emirates.
With the stated production target for 2009, just wondered how Airbus were going to deliver the aircraft as surely having a steady flow would be the better way to minimise manufacturing costs. Whilst airlines are struggling with the current economic climate, would have thought getting fleet numbers up to a minium levels would operationally be more cost effective.
