A380 Production Update: July 2009 (#1)

I have a question that has been bothering me for a while now.

Will ever make the Airbus A380F?

First of all they are predicting a 2013-2014 entery into service. Second of all Airbus is focusing a lot on the A350 at the moment. Thirdly will anyone buy it or will they go for the B747-8F or B777F as they can get it sooner?

What do you think?

    Hello everyody,

    Good question raised but unfortunately without answer. Nevertheless, a part of the studies were done before the project was frozen in 2007. Anyway, today the freighter market is quite bad, China Southern sent his brand new B777F in the desert for long duration storage, Singapore Cargo and Cathay Pacific Cargo, like many other Freight Airlines did the same with their 747-400F. So time is not the best to launch such a product after cancellation of all its orders 2 years ago.
    Just wait and see is the word now.
