Yesterday, Singapore Airlines’ sixteenth A380 (MSN082) began cabin test flights.
Delivery to the airline is expected in February.

Emirates’ twenty-eighth A380 (MSN109) has been confirmed as the new frame being carried on Convoy #25/2011.

Only the wings and tailplane are being carried in the convoy, with the remaining components scheduled to arrive in early January.
Once delivered, she will carry registration A6-EEB.

2011 has been a great year for A380Production, with almost 50% more visitors than in 2010, making it our most successful year yet. On top of that, we now have over 2,500 Twitter followers and almost 1,000 Facebook followers.
In 2011 we also launched A350Production, which will come into its own in the coming year, with daily news and quality content at the top of the list.
I would personally like to thank all of you for reading and writing this year, and wish you all Happy Holidays & New Year, and hope you will continue to follow us in 2012.

Emirates has announced it will begin A380 flights to Tokyo and Melbourne in 2012.
Dubai to Tokyo flights will begin on July 1st, operating as EK318/319, while Dubai to Melbourne flights will begin on October 1st, operating as EK406/407.

Earlier this month, the first A380 for a private owner (MSN002) was seen outside the hangars.
MSN002 has spent the last few years in the hangars being refurbished. Delivery to the customer is expected in Q2 2012.

Late last week, Singapore Airline’s eighteenth A380 (MSN085) was ferried to Hamburg.
Delivery to the airline is scheduled for Q3 2012.

Yesterday, Airbus delivered China Southern’s second A380 (MSN036) and Emirates’ twentieth A380 (MSN086).
MSN036 was delivered in Toulouse, while MSN086 was handed over in Hamburg.
