Supplying The World With The Latest A380 News
As one convoy arrives in Toulouse another is announced this time for May 11-14th. People are speculating that it is most likely to be MSN030 for Emirates. It is also showing two forward fuselages (this can be a typo however).
In other news MSN017 (A6-EDE) for Emirates will be delivered today and will leave Hamburg today at 1900 to Dubai.
The latest convoy has completed and we have had confirmation they it was MSN041 the second for Lufthansa.
MSN041 will now move into the the Body Joim hall and be moved into the final assembly hall in about a month. It will be delivered to Lufthansa in early 2010.

Just some updates. More photos of MSN007 for Emirates have cropped up. These show us that new doors have been attached and also new windows installed and new engines have the Emirates livery.
As you can see new doors there. Escape slides still need to be installed. 
In other news MSN021 for Singapore Airlines has left the paint shop in Hamburg and is now sitting next to MSN017 for Emirates (Delivery this week) and will be delivered soon. 
MSN034 (Singapore) this week moved into the paint hall and MSN019 (Singapore) is almost finished in the paint hall and will be probably the next to come out after MSN026 (Qantas) but this may be delayed so MSN009could come out first. We have also had confirmation that the next convoy April 20-24th will be the second for Lufthansa MSN041.
MSN007 (Production A380) has made its way out of the hanger and on the flightline in preparation for its first flight after major refurbishment (Having EA engine installed). This will be delivered to Emirates in late Q4 2009. It can be seen below behind MSN023.
I other news MSN023 will make its first flight sometime this week and then be ferried to Hamburg before being delivered in Q4 2009. There are two photos that came up on Flickr today showing parts of most likely MSN051 (SQ). One is a tail which does not have the Singapore colour scheme. All of Singapore Airlines A380 before have had the a Singapore tail (MSN005 only had the colour not logo). So people are speculating that this may be due to Singapore deferring the order or even selling the frame. A380 Production is yet to confirm this yet.

China Southern has announced today it will defer its A380 deliverys until 2011. So MSN031 (There 1st) will most likely be re assigned a MSN and could have been even MSN051 we are still unaware. China Southern is also defering deliverys of rival Boeing 787s. 
Qantas has decided to defer 4 of its A380 deliverys due from a profit downgrade. It will also be cutting up to 1750 jobs and grounding 10 aircraft. A380 Production sources state that it looks like MSN055, MSN062, MSN067 and MSN070 will be the aircraft defered. This is what the current status of Qantas’s A380s at the moment
