Supplying The World With The Latest A380 News
As one convoy arrives in Toulouse another is announced this time for May 11-14th. People are speculating that it is most likely to be MSN030 for Emirates. It is also showing two forward fuselages (this can be a typo however).
In other news MSN017 (A6-EDE) for Emirates will be delivered today and will leave Hamburg today at 1900 to Dubai.
The latest convoy has completed and we have had confirmation they it was MSN041 the second for Lufthansa.
MSN041 will now move into the the Body Joim hall and be moved into the final assembly hall in about a month. It will be delivered to Lufthansa in early 2010.

More photos of Emirates’ MSN007 have emerged showing newly installed doors and windows, along with new engines in Emirates livery.
The new doors are visible here; the escape slides have not yet been installed.
In other news, Singapore’s MSN021 has left the Hamburg paint shop and is sitting next to Emirate’s MSN017 (to be delivered this week) in preparation for delivery.
This week, Singapore’s MSN034 moved into the paint hall, where Singapore’s MSN019 is nearing completion. MSN019 will probably be the next to leave the paint hall, after Qantas’ MSN026, or it could be delayed so that MSN009 can come out first.
We also have confirmation that the next convoy on April 20-24th will carry MSN041, the second A380 for Lufthansa.
MSN007 (production A380) has left the hangar and is on the flightline in preparation for its first flight, after major refurbishment (having EA engines installed). It will be delivered to Emirates in late Q4 2009, and can be seen below behind MSN023.
In other news, MSN023 will make its first flight sometime this week and be ferried to Hamburg before delivery in Q4 2009.
Two photos emerged on Flickr today showing parts of what is most likely Singapore Airline’s MSN051. One is a tail without the Singapore color scheme. Since all of their preceding A380s had the Singapore tail colors (MSN005 had the colors but not the logo), some are speculating that Singapore may defer the order or even sell the frame. A380 Production has yet to confirm this.
We will try to update you on the matter this week.
Today China Southern announced that it will defer its A380 deliveries until 2011. MSN031 (their 1st) will most likely be reassigned a MSN and may even be MSN051; we’re still not sure. China Southern is also deferring deliveries of its 787s from rival Boeing. 
Qantas has decided to defer 4 of its A380 deliveries due to a profit downgrade. It will also be cutting up to 1750 jobs and grounding 10 aircraft. A380 Production sources state that it looks as though MSN055, MSN062, MSN067, and MSN070 will be the aircraft deferred. Below is the current status of Qantas’s A380s:
