Late last week, Air France’s eighth A380 (MSN099) was ferried to Hamburg.


Delivery to the airline is scheduled for Q2 2012.

Yesterday, Air France’s eighth A380 (MSN099) performed her first flight.


She used call sign AIB01AF and spent just over two hours in the air.

Her ferry flight to Hamburg is scheduled for next week.

She is expected to perform her first flight within the next few days.

Delivery to the airline is scheduled for Q2 2012.

Yesterday, Air France’s seventh A380 (MSN067) performed her first flight.


It is the first time in over a year that an Air France frame has made a first flight, and it has been four months since the last delivery.

Yesterday, Air France’s seventh A380 (MSN067) began taxi testing, after spending almost two months on the flight-line.


She is expected to perform her first flight later this week.

Yesterday, Air France’s eighth A380 (MSN099) completed final assembly.


She took sixteen weeks to complete, and has been given the test registration F-WWAF.

Air France’s eighth A380 (MSN099) has been spotted on the final assembly line.


She has already spent sixteen weeks inside the hangars, and is expected to be completed by the end of the month.

Her sister ship (MSN067) has already completed assembly and will perform her first flight within the next fortnight.

Both are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2012.
