Yesterday, Malaysia Airlines’ second A380 (MSN081) completed final assembly and was towed to the flightline.
She took just eleven weeks to complete assembly, the fastest time yet for any A380 frame.

Earlier today, Malaysia Airlines’ first A380 (MSN078) was ferried to Hamburg.
She used call sign AIB02SU and was last seen parked on the flightline.
Delivery to the airline is scheduled for June 2012.

She used call sign AIB01SU and spent around three hours in the air before returning to the Toulouse flightline.
Delivery to the airline is scheduled for June 2012.

Yesterday, Malaysia Airlines’ first A380 (MSN078) began taxi testing.
She is expected to perform her first flight next week.
Once delivered she will wear the registration 9M-MNA.

Malaysia Airlines’ third A380 (MSN084) has been confirmed as the new frame being carried on Convoy #18/2011.

Currently, only the wings are being convoyed, with the rest of the body scheduled to arrive on Convoy #19/2011 in early October.

Airbus has confirmed that Malaysia Airlines’ first A380 (MSN078) will carry the test registration F-WWSU.
Amazingly, this is the first time an A380 has carried F-WWSU as a registration.
Malaysia Airlines is expected to take delivery of MSN078 in June 2012.

BREAKING NEWS:
Malaysia Airlines’ first A380 (MSN078) has completed final assembly, and is currently sitting on the flight-line.
She took just fifteen weeks to complete assembly, which is three weeks faster than China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031).
Flight testing will begin in October, with delivery to the airline in June 2012.
