MSN026 for Qantas was delivered late last week three months after original delivery was expected. It will enter service with Qantas early in September.
MSN050 for Qantas will peform a RTO on 24th August and first flight on 25th August and will then be placed in storage with MSN047 until May 2010.
MSN038 first for Lufthansa has had some delays in the FAL and will be now rolled out either late this week or early next week.
And finally here is a time laps video of A380 sections in Hamburg being loaded onto one of the A380 Transporters.
Just a few updates to start the week. MSN051 for Singapore Airlines first flight has been delayed until 31st August due to a technical issue on board. It’s first flight will also be its ferry flight to Hamburg.
MSN026 for Qantas will be delivered on the 26th August after almost 9 months in outfitting. MSN050 also for Qantas should start taxi tests very shortley before making a scheduled first flight on the 25th August.
MSN038 the first for Lufthansa will be rolled out any day. So keep watching closely to A380 Production over the course of the next few days as we will report it as soon as it happens.
Convoy #10 has arrived in Toulouse with parts of MSN048 and MSN049.
Also MSN026 for Qantas has made its first post cabin installment flight and will be delivered on the 26th August. In other news MSN047 will make its first flight on Thursday.
Well today I got a note from a source from inside Airbus and got some very interesting and surprising news. I will write it in airline order. (Please remember that is not confirmed by Airbus but by a source from inside Airbus)
Qantas:
MSN047 will make its first flight on the 4th August.
MSN050 will make its first flight on the 25th August.
Now the very surprising info is that after this they will be stored in Toulouse until MSN047 will be transferred to Hamburg on 29th April 2010 and MSN050 until 20th May 2010. For deliveries in October and December 2010. The delay is caused by Qantas deferring deliveries due the GFC. Of course we assumed the delays were for later frames but I guess we were wrong.
MSN026 will make its first post cabin installtion flight this week.
Lufthansa:
MSN038 has been scheduled for a first flight on the 18th September so roll out will occur in mid August.
Emirates
MSN028 has been scheduled for a first flight on the 17th September so roll out will occur in Mid August like MSN038.
MSN009 has a schedules for a first flight on 5th October and ferry flight 22nd October meaning a roll out early September.
Now please remember all the information above i.e dates are aprox and may change by a day or two. And this has yet to be confirmed by Airbus themselves so please dont write to Airbus and ask them to confirm.

Not much news to report this week. MSN025 for EK arrived in Hamburg as reported earlier. MSN043 for Air France will hopefully make its first flight before the week ends. The next convoy has yet to be announced by the webcam today picked up two parts of the next convoy outside the halls in Hamburg.
We are speculating that it is either MSN035 for Korean Air or MSN056 for Emirates. MSN026 for Qantas will be delivered next week.
MSN025 for Emirates made its first flight on the 13th July and should be ferried shortly. MSN043 should follow very soon. MSN026 will be ferried to Toulouse this week. While MSN045 and MSN027 will be coming out of the hangers over the next month.
Very little news for the start of July. MSN026 is being prepared for delivery while MSN034 was deliverd on the 6th July. In the FAL MSN038 will be rolled out hopefully in mid-late July. Conboy #10 is yet to have a date.
