Late last week, China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031) was transferred to Toulouse.
She will be delivered to the airline on October 14th.

Yesterday, China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031) performed a missed approach while flight testing over Germany.
Usually an event like this wouldn’t be noteworthy, but as this was a first for a China Southern A380, we felt we should mention it.
Heavy rain and low visibility were the likely causes for the missed approach.
Delivery to the airline is currently on track for late September.

Yesterday, China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031) was spotted on the Hamburg flightline, in full colour scheme.
She is likely to re enter the hangars in the next few days, so hopefully we will be able to get a complete picture before then.
Delivery to China Southern is scheduled for September.

Yesterday, China Southerns first A380 (MSN031) performed its first flight.
MSN031 flew direct to Hamburg, for outfitting and a coat of paint.

As China Southerns first A380 (MSN031) prepares for it’s first flight, the airlines second A380 (MSN036) is rolled out of the final assembly line.
MSN036 only took thirteen weeks to complete assembly, which is the second fastest, only behind MSN077 (Emirates #16).

Yesterday, China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031) began taxi tests.
She is scheduled to perform her first flight later today, but as usual, this is subject to change.

Delivery to China Southern is currently scheduled for Q4 2011.
