Supplying The World With The Latest A380 News
China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031) has now entered “Stage 2″ of Final Assembly.
The first of her four engines will be installed in the coming weeks, with roll out onto the flightline expected in late November.
Late last week Korean Air’s second A380 (MSN039) had her first her engines installed. Expect to see MSN039 on the flightline in the next few weeks.

Last Monday finally saw the roll out of a new A380 frame. MSN066 is Lufthansa’s sixth A380 and took only twenty weeks to complete final assembly.
Our good friend “Schiefi” has managed to capture a great shot of China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031). MSN031 is still going through Body Join, but this should be completed by the end of the week.

The tail for China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031) has arrived in Toulouse on board an Airbus Beluga.
Over the next few days MSN031 will enter body join, which is expected to take around two weeks.

Yesterday marked the beginning of the fifteenth Convoy for 2010. Convoy #15 departed “Langon” at 22:00 local time.
The components being transported are…
Center Fuselage (MSN031 – China Southern #1)
Forward Fuselage, Rear Fuselage, Wing Pair, Tailplane (Unknown MSN – Speculations – MSN060 (Emirates), MSN063 (Qantas))
Convoy #15 will arrive in Toulouse on September 2nd, at around 01:00.
With Convoy #14/2010 arriving in Toulouse, another is announced. Convoy #15/2010 is scheduled to begin on August 30th.
The Convoy will be carrying the center fuselage for China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031) and also a forward fuselage, rear fuselage, wing pair and tail plane for an unknown MSN.
The forward and rear fuselage for China Southern’s first A380 (MSN031) have begun their long Convoy to Toulouse.
They are scheduled to arrive in the next few days.
BREAKING NEWS:
We can now gladly confirm that the Wing Pair that arrived last week on Convoy #13/2010 are destined for China Southerns first A380 (MSN031).
MSN031′s forward and rear fuselage, along with the tail plane will arrive in the coming weeks. The center fuselage is scheduled to arrive in late August or early September.
