A380 Production Update: July 2009 (#3)

Very little news for the start of July. MSN026 is being prepared for delivery while MSN034 was deliverd on the 6th July. In the FAL MSN038 will be rolled out hopefully in mid-late July. Conboy #10 is yet to have a date.

Lufthansa has confirmed they will be getting five A380s in 2010. These will be MSN038, MSN041, MSN044, MSN048 and MSN061.

Also MSN034 has yet to arrive in Toulouse and rumors are spreading that it will be delivered in Hamburg not Toulouse.

MSN026 for Qantas is now in final prep for delivery in late July.

MSN050 the eighth for Qantas has been rolled out. This is the quickest time from convoy arrival to FAL roll out 156 days. You can see MSN050 next to MSN047 in the picture below.

A picture of MSN026 in Hamburg has finally come up online. You can see it in the image below. MSN034 was transfered to Toulouse sometime on the weekend.

MSN047 for Qantas has been confirmed as F-WWAD after sending its first ACARS on the 19th June. MSN034 is still in Hamburg but should be transfered to Toulouse early next week.

MSN044 has now been confirmed as Convoy #8 which only leaves the rear of MSN044 to go. This is the third for Lufthansa.


Also MSN034 (F-WWSC) will be transferred to Toulouse on the weekend and will overtake MSN026 as the first Wave 2 A380 delivered
