A380 Production Update: July 2009 (#3)

Very little news for the start of July. MSN026 is being prepared for delivery while MSN034 was deliverd on the 6th July. In the FAL MSN038 will be rolled out hopefully in mid-late July. Conboy #10 is yet to have a date.

A380 Production Update: June 2009 (#18)

Lufthansa has confirmed they will be getting five A380s in 2010. These will be MSN038, MSN041, MSN044, MSN048 and MSN061.

Also MSN034 has yet to arrive in Toulouse and rumors are spreading that it will be delivered in Hamburg not Toulouse.

MSN026 for Qantas is now in final prep for delivery in late July.

MSN050 the eighth for Qantas has been rolled out. This is the quickest time from convoy arrival to FAL roll out 156 days. You can see MSN050 next to MSN047 in the picture below.

A picture of MSN026 in Hamburg has finally come up online. You can see it in the image below. MSN034 was transfered to Toulouse sometime on the weekend.

MSN047 for Qantas has been confirmed as F-WWAD after sending its first ACARS on the 19th June. MSN034 is still in Hamburg but should be transfered to Toulouse early next week.

MSN044 has now been confirmed as Convoy #8 which only leaves the rear of MSN044 to go. This is the third for Lufthansa.

Also MSN034 (F-WWSC) will be transferred to Toulouse on the weekend and will overtake MSN026 as the first Wave 2 A380 delivered

Hamburg Update:

From my sources I have compiled information on the status of Hamburg. Here are the current stages of the aircraft in Hamburg.

MSN019: Is currently in the interior hall and will be the next to come out. Paint scheme has been applied.

MSN021: Sitting on the flightline. Paint sheme appiled.

MSN023: Waiting outside for spot in interior hall.

MSN026: Was not seen. (in a different hanger)

MSN027: Currently getting buffed for painting

MSN029: In the interior hall.

MSN033: In the interior hall. Paint scheme appiled.

MSN034: In the interior hall. Paint scheme appiled

MSN045: Currently being painted.

A380 Production Update: May 2009 (#6)

Very little news this week on the A380 front. MSN023 (F-WWST) will probably be transfered to Hamburg soon. MSN040 (F-WWSE) and MSN007 (F-WWJB) will move to the next stages of production, engine tests within the next 14 days. In Hamburg it is still MSN021 on the flightline. MSN034 should be coming out of the paint hangers this week to. The next covoy is due to start tomorrow.

Just got from one of my sources a production list for A380 deliveries in 2009 and 2010.

(This was created with current information presumed on 2009 and 2010)

17 (Most likely 15)

Emirates 7x (5x) = 017, 023, 007, 028, 025, ( 009, 030 probably in 2010)
Singapore 4x = 021, 019, 034, 045
Qantas 4x = 026, 027, 029, 047, (050 most likely 2010)
Air France 2x = 033, 040

And for the 2010 a total of 19 plus probably a few more.

Lufthansa 7x = 038, 041 (Q1-2010), 044, 048 (Q2-2010), 061, 066, (Q3-2010) 076 (Q4-2010)
Singapoure 4x = 051, 065, 071, 073
Emirates 7x = 042, 046, 056, 057, 059, 060, 063 ( 03-2010 – 03-2011)
Qantas Not Known in 2010
Air France Not known in 2010
VIP Prince Al 1x = MSN002

And the 6th airline Korean Air there first aircraft MSN035 is unknown.

Just some updates. More photos of MSN007 for Emirates have cropped up. These show us that new doors have been attached and also new windows installed and new engines have the Emirates livery.As you can see new doors there. Escape slides still need to be installed. In other news MSN021 for Singapore Airlines has left the paint shop in Hamburg and is now sitting next to MSN017 for Emirates (Delivery this week) and will be delivered soon. MSN034 (Singapore) this week moved into the paint hall and MSN019 (Singapore) is almost finished in the paint hall and will be probably the next to come out after MSN026 (Qantas) but this may be delayed so MSN009could come out first. We have also had confirmation that the next convoy April 20-24th will be the second for Lufthansa MSN041.
