MSN040 (F-WWSE) and MSN007 (F-WWJB) will move to the next stages of production, engine tests within the next 14 days. In Hamburg it is still MSN021 on the flightline. MSN034 should be coming out of the paint hangers this week to. The next covoy is due to start tomorrow.

More photos of Emirates’ MSN007 have emerged showing newly installed doors and windows, along with new engines in Emirates livery.MSN007

The new doors are visible here; the escape slides have not yet been installed.

                                                                                                                                                                    MSN007

In other news, Singapore’s MSN021 has left the Hamburg paint shop and is sitting next to Emirate’s MSN017 (to be delivered this week) in preparation for delivery.

MSN019This week, Singapore’s MSN034 moved into the paint hall, where Singapore’s MSN019 is nearing completion. MSN019 will probably be the next to leave the paint hall, after Qantas’ MSN026, or it could be delayed so that MSN009 can come out first.

We also have confirmation that the next convoy on April 20-24th will carry MSN041, the second A380 for Lufthansa.

Well as we know, the last few weeks have been pretty quiet for New Year’s break. Just a few small updates to start off our new blog…
First of all, the first A380 for Air France (F-WWSB) rolled off the Final Assembly Line in the first week of January, and will be making its first flight in either late January or in early-to-mid February.

Also, MSN034 for Singapore Airlines (F-WWSC) made its first flight on January 14, 2009. It is now currently in Hamburg for outfitting.

The next few planes to roll off the line will be MSN023 for Emirates, and MSN027 for Qantas.
