Yesterday, China Southern’s second A380 (MSN036) was spotted on the Hamburg flightline, with at least one engine missing.

The reason why she has engines missing, is likely to be linked the current shortage of Rolls Royce engines. Her original engines are now probably installed on a frame further ahead in production.
She will reenter the hangars in a few days, to be painted and to have new engines installed. Delivery to China Southern is scheduled for November.
