Yesterday, Qantas’s eighth A380 (MSN050) finally transferred to Hamburg. A mere ten months after first flight*.

Delivery is currently scheduled for January 2011, But rumors are going around that she will be delivered in December.

In the early hours of last Friday, Airbus rolled out Lufthansa’s fifth A380 (MSN061) from Final Assembly.
First flight and transfer is currently scheduled for the 30th July.
Today will see MSN050 (Qantas #8) transfer to Hamburg. Here she is being towed back from the engine test bay.

Last month we managed to get a picture of MSN035′s (Korean Air #1) tail in Final Assembly. Well yesterday, one of our spotters managed to catch a bit of MSN035.

The picture suggests that she has had her flaps and slats installed, and also some belly fairing. She is scheduled to leave Final Assembly in September.
MSN049 (Air France #4) has been rolled out of the Outfitting hangars, But due to the summer break she wont be delivered to late August or early September.
MSN050 (Qantas #8) will now transfer to Hamburg next week.

Finally our spotters in Toulouse have managed to get a shot of Singapore Airline’s twelfth A380 (MSN058).
MSN058 will transfer to Hamburg on the 14th July.
Spotters have also managed to get a photo of MSN050 (Qantas #8), following it’s long term storage.

She will be delivered to Qantas in January.
Korean Air’s second A380 (MSN039) has been confirmed as the frame being carried on Convoy #11/2010. She will enter Body Join on Thursday, But the tail wont arrive until the weekend.

This week, MSN050 (Qantas #8) is scheduled to start up it’s engines for the first time in 9 months.

MSN050 made it’s first in August last year. Since then it has been storage in a flightline hangar in Toulouse (At Qantas’s Request). It is scheduled to fly to Hamburg for outfitting next week, With delivery schedule for January 2011.
