Yesterday, Airbus delivered China Southern’s third A380 (MSN054) at a ceremony in Toulouse.
This is China Southern’s first A380 delivery for 2012, and it won’t be the last.
Her civil registration is B-6138.

Afer spending a few hours testing her systems, she headed for Hamburg.
Delivery to China Southern is scheduled for Q1 2012.

She is expected to be flying by the beginning of next week.

Last week, China Southern’s third A380 (MSN054) completed final assembly.
She took twenty-two weeks to complete assembly, and is currently scheduled for delivery in Q1 2012.

Convoy #3/2011 has been announced, and is scheduled to begin on January 31st.
A complete frame will be convoyed, with components for China Southerns third A380 (MSN054) and a yet unknown MSN.
Note: This is the first time Airbus have performed three separate convoys in one month.
