Korean Air’s third A380 (MSN059) was in the air today, performing some pre-delivery tests.
She was using the callsign AIB05AY, and was only in the air for about an hour. She is expected to be delivered to Korean Air later this month.

Engine tests and taxi tests were meant to begin two weeks ago, but an electrical fault delayed the tests. First flight is expected early next week.

Early last week, Korean Air’s third A380 (MSN059) was rolled out of final assembly.
Arriving in Toulouse in mid August, MSN059 took only eighteen weeks to complete final assmebly, making it the third quickest frame to do so. Delivery to Korean Air is on schedule for Q3 2011.
