Last week, Airbus delivered Lufthansa’s seventh A380 (MSN069).
MSN069 makes forty seven A380s delivered, it is now only a matter of weeks before the fiftieth will have its turn.

Yesterday, Lufthansa’s seventh A380 (MSN069) performed her first flight.
MSN069 did not fly on to Hamburg, instead she returned to Toulouse after several hours in the air.
Currently delivery is on schedule for May 2011.

Earlier this week Lufthansa’s seventh A380 (MSN069) completed Final Assembly and was moved to the flightline.
MSN069 took twenty one weeks to complete final assembly and is currently the fifth A380 on the flightline. Delivery to Lufthansa is scheduled for Q2 2011.

Yesterday hundreds of Airbus employees and their families were lucky enough to get a peak inside the A380 Final Assembly Line. Many people have already uploaded photos which has given us some updated information…
Lufthansa’s seventh A380 (MSN069) is preparing to have it’s first engine installed.
We expect MSN069 to be completed in approximately one month.
Later this week Qantas’s eleventh A380 (MSN063) is scheduled to begin body join, the tail arrived late last week on board an Airbus “Beluga” and is already in the tail jig.

As it is a slow news week, We have decided to post a small update on the frames that will roll out in the near future.
Frames in Final Assembly, Stage 1:
MSN035 (Korean Air #1): Roll out Currently Scheduled for September.
MSN069 (Lufthansa #7): Roll out Currently Scheduled for Late September.
Frames in Final Assembly, Stage 2:
MSN058 (Singapore Airlines #12): Roll out Currently Scheduled for Next Week.
MSN061 (Lufthansa #5): Will Roll out late This Week, Early Next Week.
MSN062 (Qantas #10): Will Roll out in Two Weeks.
MSN064 (Air France #6): Roll out Currently Scheduled for Late August, Early September.
MSN065 (Singapore Airlines #13): Roll out Currently Scheduled for Late June.
MSN066 (Lufthansa #6): Roll out Currently Scheduled for Late August, Early September.
MSN071 (Singapore Airlines #14): Roll out Currently Scheduled for Next Week.
With Convoy #8 rolling up into Toulouse, Another is announced. Convoy #9 is scheduled to begin on May 17th. It will be carrying the Center fuselage for MSN069 (Lufthansa #7), Plus a forward and rear fuselage, wing set and tailplane for an yet unknown MSN.
MSN069 (Lufthansa #7) has been confirmed as the new frame traveling with Convoy #8/2010. All components except for the center fuselage are currently en-route. The center fuselage will travel on the next convoy in about two weeks.
MSN035 (Korean Air #1) is due to begin Body Join this Thursday, This should take approximately two weeks, With Final Assembly to start soon after.
