Supplying The World With The Latest A380 News
Last week, Lufthansa’s eighth A380 (MSN070) was delivered at a ceremony in Hamburg.
This is the first A380 to be delivered this month, and the fifty-second overall.
Her first revenue flight was LH454 (Frankfurt to San Francisco)

Earlier this week, Lufthansa’s eighth A380 (MSN070) completed outfitting.
Delivery to the airline is scheduled for late April.

Earlier this week Lufthansa’s eighth A380 (MSN070) was transferred to Hamburg for outfitting and painting.
Delivery is currently scheduled for Q2 2011.

Yesterday, Lufthansa’s eighth A380 (MSN070) performed it’s first flight.
MSN070 departed Toulouse late in the morning and returned two hours later, after testing was completed. She will be transferred to Hamburg late next week.

To finish the week off, Here are a couple of updates from the Final Assembly Line…
MSN064 (Air France #6) – Has been completed, Just waiting for engines to be installed.
MSN065 (Singapore Airlines #13) – Has been completed, All four engines attached, Roll out very soon.
MSN070 (Lufthansa #8) – Currently in first stage of Final Assembly.
MSN071 (Singapore Airlines #14) – Has been completed, Just waiting for engines to be installed.

Earlier this week, MSN030 (Emirates #11) was moved to the Hamburg flightline. It wont stay there long as additional work is still required in Economy Class.
MSN030 is the aircraft on the left.
Convoy #10/2010 has been announced and is scheduled to begin on June 7th. The only component that will be Convoyed is the Center fuselage for MSN070 (Lufthansa #8).

MSN070 (Lufthansa #8) has been confirmed as the new frame being delivered on Convoy #9/2010. The tailplane, Wing Pair and Forward and Rear Fuselage are being carried on the Convoy. The center fuselage will arrive on Convoy #10 in early June.
In our last post we mentioned that yesterday MSN056 (Emirates #14) was transferred to Hamburg for Outfitting. We forgot to mention that this was also her first flight.
