Yesterday, Airbus delivered Singapore Airlines’ thirteenth A380 (MSN071).

This is Singapore Airlines’ second A380 delivery for 2011, with MSN058 being handed over in June.

Late last week, Singapore Airlines’ fourteenth A380 (MSN071) completed the outfitting stage of production.

MSN071 was one of two Singapore Airlines frames (the other being MSN065) transferred to Hamburg late last year. Both were put into short-term storage earlier in the year.
Delivery of MSN065 is scheduled for Q3 2011, and delivery of MSN071 for Q4 2011.

Yesterday, Korean Air’s first A380 (MSN035) performed her first taxi tests.

This will be followed shortly by a Rejected Take Off, with her first flight soon after.
Singapore Airlines fourteenth A380 (MSN071) has performed her maiden flight, but did not fly to Hamburg.
Over in Hamburg, MSN047 (Qantas #7) is still undertaking taxi tests. She will be transferred to Toulouse prior to delivery later this month.

Late on Tuesday evening Singapore Airlines fourteenth A380 (MSN071) was finally rolled out to the flightline, after spending seven months being assembled.
There are now four A380s completed on the flightline or flightline hangars…. (MSN035 – Korean Air #1, MSN064 – Air France #6, MSN066 – Lufthansa #6 and MSN071 – Singapore Airlines #14).
We are expecting the first flight of MSN071 in around 3-4 weeks.
