Late last week, Airbus delivered Emirates’ sixteenth A380 (MSN077).
This is the first A380 Emirates has received in 2011; their fifteenth was delivered in late 2010.
She carries the airline registration A6-EDP.

Yesterday, Emirates announced they will take delivery of their sixteenth A380 (MSN077) on October 14th.
This is almost a month behind her original delivery date of September 16th.

Yesterday, Emirates’ sixteenth A380 (MSN077) performed her first cabin test flight.
Delivery is currently scheduled for September 17th.

This will be Emirates’ first A380 delivery since MSN057 was delivered last November.

Yesterday, Korean Air’s fifth A380 (MSN075) completed final assembly.
MSN075 took just twelve weeks to complete assembly, and can now claim the title of the fastest A380 to go through through assembly, beating Emirate’s sixteenth A380 (MSN077) by one week.

Yesterday, Emirates sixteenth A380 (MSN077) was transferred to Hamburg.
MSN077 performed her first flight last week, but returned to Toulouse after experiencing an electrical fault. Once delivered to Emirates, she will carry the registration of A6-EDP.

Yesterday, Emirates sixteenth A380 (MSN077) performed its first flight.
After a few hours of testing, she returned to Toulouse, and is scheduled to fly to Hamburg next week.
November 2010 saw MSN077 arrive in Toulouse, and just four months later, she is in the air. This is sign that the production line is speeding up very, very nicely.
