Yesterday, Emirates’ seventeenth A380 (MSN080) performed her first cabin test flight.

Delivery to the airline is scheduled for October 27th.

Supplying The World With The Latest A380 News
Last Friday saw the roll out of two frames, from the final assembly line. Qantas’s twelfth A380 (MSN074), and Emirate’s seventeenth A380 (MSN080).

MSN074 took twenty two weeks to complete assembly, while MSN080 took just thirteen. Both of these frames are expected to be transferred to Hamburg, in mid April.

Emirates twentieth A380 (MSN090) has been confirmed as the new frame being carried on Convoy #4/2011.

Components being carried are, the forward and rear fuselages, as well as the wings. The center fuselage and tailplane will be convoyed in early March.

The final convoy for 2010 has arrived in Toulouse, containing components for two new frames.

The forward, center and rear fuselages, as well as the tailplane are for Emirate’s seventeenth A380. The wings and the extra forward fuselage, are for Korean Air’s fifth A380 (MSN075).
The first convoy for 2011 is scheduled to begin on January 3rd.
In summary for 2010, a total of eighteen A380s were convoyed, plus an extra forward, center and rear fuselage, and a wing pair.
