Yesterday, Thai Airways’ first A380 (MSN087) completed final assembly and was moved to the flightline.
She took just eleven weeks to complete assembly, the fastest time yet for an airline’s first A380 frame.
Once delivered, she will carry airline registration HS-TUA.

Thai Airway’s first A380 (MSN087) has been spotted inside the body join hangars.
She will be moved to the final assembly line shortly, and is expected to be completed in February 2012.
Once in airline service, she will carry the registration HS-MAR.

Earlier this week, the tail for Thai Airways’ first A380 (MSN087) arrived in Toulouse.
Body join is expected to commence next week, once Emirates’ twenty-fourth A380 (MSN105) moves into final assembly.
Delivery to the airline is scheduled for Q3 2012,

Thai Airways’ first A380 (MSN087) has been confirmed as the new frame carried on Convoy #20/2011.
Only the wings were transferred on the convoy, with the remaining components scheduled to arrive in early November.
Delivery to the airline will be in the third quarter of 2012.
